Your first point of contact when registering a child will be Gill Pursglove (Administration Manager).

All staff regularly attend training courses to update their educational and professional skills, such as Child Protection, Health & Safety .

All staff are DBS checked and all have a current Paediatric first aid qualification.

Key Person

Each child attending Rainbow is allocated a Key Person. Our Key Person system ensures that each child is nurtured and given the opportunity to reach their potential. The Key Person allocation gives your child a special adult to relate to. We believe this makes settling into the the group far easier for you child. The Key Person will maintain a link to home by working with parents through shared record keeping. Your Key Person will meet with you at regular intervals and continuously record your child's progress in their Learning Journey book. Whilst all children have an allocated Key Person, all staff will interact with your child. Your Key Person will be available at the start and finish of a session to discuss any worries or concerns. An appointment can be made for longer chats.
